Update renovatie banen 1 t/m 3
Goed nieuws! De renovatie van banen 1 t/m 3 is bijna afgerond. De laatste werkzaamheden worden nu uitgevoerd, en daarna moet de KNLTB nog de keuring doen voordat we ze officieel kunnen gebruiken. We staan dagelijks in contact met de betrokken bedrijven en onze Groundsman om er alles aan te doen om de banen dit weekend speelklaar te hebben! 🤞
Helaas zijn we afhankelijk van de KNLTB wanneer zij de keuring kunnen uitvoeren, maar we hopen dat dit deze week nog gebeurt.
De renovatie heeft vertraging opgelopen door een landelijke stop op gravelleveringen, wat ons traject met zo’n twee maanden heeft vertraagd. Hierdoor wordt het spannend of de banen nét voor of nét na de start van de competitie klaar zijn. In de tussentijd reserveren we banen 8 & 9 als trainingsbanen, zodat de lessen volgende week gewoon kunnen starten. Hopelijk is dit maar een paar dagen nodig!
Zodra de renovatie helemaal klaar is, gaan we de toegangspaden en het groen rondom de banen herstellen. Er ligt nu nog weinig grind op de paden, maar in de komende weken pakken we dat ook aan. Richting eind april hebben we weer een prachtig park met splinternieuwe banen!
Start competitie – met verse pizza’s!
Komend weekend barst de competitie los! Voor velen hét moment waarop het tennisseizoen echt begint. En wat is er nu leuker dan dat te combineren met… heerlijke verse pizza’s?
Samen met onze nieuwe sponsor Holy Moly Pizza hebben we een smakelijke actie opgezet: op vrijdag- en zaterdagavond worden er op ons park verse pizza’s gebakken in iconische mobiele pizzaovens. Bestel je pizza ter plekke en zie hoe deze à la minute wordt bereid. Verser dan dit krijg je het niet!
En er is meer: binnenkort ontvang je via onze vereniging een klein presentje van Holy Moly Pizza waarmee je eenvoudig thuis verse pizza’s kunt bestellen – die ook nog eens bij je thuis vers worden bereid. Hoe lekker is dat? 🍕🏡
Wat deze actie nóg leuker maakt: voor elke bestelde pizza gaat 10% naar de clubkas van DVH! Dit bedrag gebruiken we om een speeltuintje voor de club te realiseren. Dus smullen én de club steunen tegelijk!
Gratis BBQ tijdens slotdag zaterdagcompetitie!

Start laddercompetitie
Schrijf je vlak voor de start ngo in in voor de interne laddercompetitie en speel vriendschappelijke wedstrijden tegen clubgenoten van jouw niveau! Iedereen kan meedoen, ook als je weinig of geen andere wedstrijden speelt, en je kiest zelf op welke momenten je je wedstrijden speelt, zodat het altijd in jouw agenda past.

Reminder bardiensten
Een vriendelijk doch dringend verzoek aan iedereen die zich nog niet heeft ingeschreven voor de bardienst: regel dit deze week! Onze club draait op vrijwilligers en zonder bardienst kan het clubhuis niet open.
Let op: als je geen bardiensten hebt ingevuld (of geen gebruik maakt van de afkoopregeling), worden je speelrechten komende week geblokkeerd. Dat willen we natuurlijk voorkomen, dus zorg dat alles op tijd in orde is!

Update on the Renovation of Courts 1 to 3
Good news! The renovation of courts 1 to 3 is almost complete. The final work is now being carried out, after which the KNLTB must conduct an inspection before we can officially use them. We are in daily contact with the involved companies and our groundskeeper to do everything we can to have the courts ready for play this weekend! 🤞
Unfortunately, we are dependent on the KNLTB for when they can conduct the inspection, but we hope this will happen this week.
The renovation was delayed due to a nationwide halt in clay deliveries, which set us back by about two months. This means it will be a close call whether the courts will be ready just before or just after the start of the competition. In the meantime, we have reserved courts 8 & 9 as training courts so that lessons can begin as scheduled next week. Hopefully, this will only be necessary for a few days!
Once the renovation is fully completed, we will restore the access paths and greenery around the courts. There is currently little gravel on the paths, but we will address this in the coming weeks. By the end of April, we will have a beautiful park with brand-new courts!

Start of the Ladder Competition
Sign up now for the internal ladder competition and play friendly matches against club members at your level! Everyone can participate, even if you don’t play many or any other matches. You choose when to play, so it always fits your schedule.
How does the competition work?
The season runs from March 31 to October 13. A new round starts every two weeks.
Each round, you are automatically matched with someone close to your ranking on the ladder, ensuring a fair challenge.
You move up the ladder by winning against a higher-ranked opponent (this does not affect your official rating).
You can arrange match details (such as date and time) via the chat function in the app in coordination with your opponent.
Need a break? You can easily skip rounds and take a pause when necessary.
How to sign up?
Participation is free:
Download or open the KNLTB Match app (available in your App Store or Google Play Store).
Go to "Search" and look for "DVH".
Sign up for the singles and/or doubles competition.
Reminder: Bar Duty
A friendly but urgent reminder to those who have not yet signed up for bar duty: please arrange this this week! Our club relies on volunteers, and without bar duty, the clubhouse cannot open.
Important: If you have not signed up for bar duty (or have not opted for the buyout option), your playing rights will be blocked next week. We want to avoid this, so please ensure everything is arranged on time!
