Update vernieuwd terras bij DVH
De afgelopen tijd is er hard gewerkt om ons terras nog aantrekkelijker en gastvrijer te maken voor ons allemaal. De plantenbakken zijn geplaatst, voor een groene en levendige sfeer. Daarnaast zijn er nieuwe statafels, perfect voor ontspannen na het tennissen en is er met de venieuwde buitenverlichting ook in de avond een gezellige uitstraling.
En dat is nog niet alles! Binnenkort kunnen we een prachtige pergola verwachten en een nieuwe parasol (de huidige is tijdelijk). Binnen enkele weken kunnen we genieten van een nieuwe uitstraling, comfort en beschutting!
Belangrijke Update van de Barcommissie
Er zijn nog te veel open plekken voor de bardiensten die ingevuld moeten worden. Daarom doen we vriendelijk doch dringend een beroep op jullie om je bardiensten in te vullen, indien je dat nog niet hebt gedaan.
Daarnaast willen we graag een speciaal verzoek doen aan diegenen die bereid zijn om extra bardiensten te draaien tegen vergoeding. Jouw hulp is essentieel om ervoor te zorgen dat er altijd een barmedewerker aanwezig is, waardoor we onze vereniging soepel kunnen laten draaien.
Wil jij graag een extra steentje bijdragen buiten je reguliere bardiensten om? Meld je dan aan als Oproepmedewerker Bardienst door een e-mail te sturen naar [email protected] voor meer informatie!
Start jeugdcompetitie
Het is aan de jeugd om dit jaar het compitatieve deel van seizoen af te trappen! Dit begint op vrijdag 29 maart:
Vrijdag 29 maart:
- Jongens 13 tm 17 DVH 1 tegen Ouderkerk 3 (captain Ethan Marchant)
Maandag 1 april:
- Groene bal DVH 1 - Badhoevedorp 3 (captain Zuko Vlaskamp)
- Groene bal DVH 2 - Tiebreakers 5 (captain Hanna van der Lelij)
- Junioren 11 tm 14 DVH 1 - Arnolduspark 1 (captain Abel de Blaauw)
- Gemengd 13 tm 17 DVH 1 - Voorhout 1 (captain Anne Gude)
Let op! Maandag 1 april zijn alle banen geblokt voor de jeugd in de ochtend.
Clubavond
Op woensdag 3 april staat onze eerste clubavond van het seizoen weer voor de deur, de laatste kans om te oefenen met een wedstrijd voordat de competitie weer begint!
- Vanaf 18:30 uur uur is iedereen welkom om te komen spelen tegen andere DVH'ers. Je kunt ook later op de avond instromen, we spelen tot ongeveer 22.30 uur
- Inschrijven is niet nodig, kom gewoon langs
- Je wordt ingedeeld tegen clubgenoten van uw eigen niveau (er wordt gespeeld in dubbels)
- Wedstrijden duren circa 30-45 minuten, tegen steeds verschillende tegenstanders
- Ballen worden verzorgd door de club
Dans mee op het Competitie Openingsfeest!
Maak je klaar om de competitie in stijl te openen op zaterdag 6 april met ons spetterende Openingsfeest! Dit wordt een avond om niet te missen, met de fantastische Feest DJ's Emrah & Larita die de hele avond voor de muzikale vibes zullen zorgen.
Het feest begint om 19:30 uur met de opbouw en een playlist vol heerlijke muziek om in de stemming te komen. Vanaf 21:00 uur nemen de Feest DJ's het over en draaien ze door tot middernacht! Verwacht een mix van Nederlandstalige hits, de beste muziek uit de jaren 80 en 90, en natuurlijk de grootste Top 40-hits van dit moment.

Update on DVH's Renewed Terrace
In recent times, we've been hard at work to make our terrace even more inviting and hospitable for all of us. The planters have been installed, adding a touch of greenery and vibrancy to the area. Additionally, new high tables have been set up, perfect for relaxing after a game of tennis, and with the newly installed outdoor lighting, there's now a cozy ambiance even in the evenings.
But wait, there's more! Soon, we can expect a beautiful pergola and a new parasol (the current one is temporary). Within a few weeks, we'll be able to enjoy a refreshed look, enhanced comfort, and better shelter!
Important Update from the Bar Committee
There are still too many open spots for the bar shifts that need to be filled. Therefore, we kindly but urgently appeal to you to fill in your bar shifts if you haven't already done so.
Additionally, we would like to make a special request to those who are willing to do extra bar shifts for compensation. Your assistance is essential to ensure that there is always a bar attendant present, allowing us to smoothly operate our association.

It's up to the youth to kick off the competitive part of the season this year! It begins on Friday, March 29:

Please note! On Monday, April 1, all courts are reserved for youth in the morning.
Club Night
On Wednesday, April 3, our first club night of the season is just around the corner, the last chance to practice with a match before the competition begins again!
From 6:30 PM onwards, everyone is welcome to come and play against other DVH members. You can also join in later in the evening; we play until around 10:30 PM. No registration is required, just drop by You will be matched against club members of your own level (doubles will be played) Matches last approximately 30-45 minutes, against different opponents each time Balls are provided by the club
Dance Along at the Competition Opening Party!
Get ready to kick off the competition in style on Saturday, April 6, with our spectacular Opening Party! This will be an evening not to be missed, with the fantastic Party DJs Emrah & Larita providing the musical vibes all night long.
The party kicks off at 7:30 PM with setup and a playlist full of great music to get you in the mood. From 9:00 PM, the Party DJs take over and will keep spinning until midnight! Expect a mix of Dutch hits, the best music from the 80s and 90s, and of course, the biggest Top 40 hits of the moment.
